DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun talk with Stan Tekiela on one of his favorite topics\, BEARS!!!! This talk is based on the book and covers some of the most amazing aspects of bears. This presentation is packed with amazing images of three species of bear found in North America\, Black\, Brown and Polar Bear. Stan will explain in his fun and entertaining way all about the different kinds of bears along with telling some of the most amazing stories of his adventures in the wild to capture these incredible images. Hundreds of award winning images are the backbone of this presentation. This presentation is visually fun and full of adventure. Over the past three decades Stan has authored more than 190 field guides\, nature appreciation books and wildlife audio CDs for nearly every state in the nation\, presenting many species of birds\, mammals\, reptiles and amphibians\, trees\, wildflowers and cacti. \nHolding a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural History from the University of Minnesota and as an active professional naturalist for more than 35 years\, Stan studies and photographs wildlife throughout the United States and has received various national and regional awards for his books and photographs. \nAlso a well-known columnist and radio personality\, his syndicated column appears in over 20 newspapers and his wildlife programs are broadcast on a number of Midwest radio stations. He is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association and Canon Professional Services along with many other professional organizations.
